Listening expectations B1

  1. Understanding conversations between native speakers (conversations, work meetings, discussions)
  2. Listening as a member of a live audience (presentation, description, product/attraction/procedure, chat, explanation).
  3. Listening to announcements and instructions (programs, technical information, detailed instructions, commands and instructions)
  4. Listening to TV, video and sound recordings (news reports, radio programs, traffic information, stories, documentaries, current affairs, advertising, film with simple story line)

Reading expectations B1

  1. Read correspondence (letters, cards, faxes, emails, both business and personal)

  2. Orientation reading (brochures, short official documents, general letters)

  3. Reading for information (simple texts in magazines, newspapers and websites, brochures, reports, stories, and lyrics)

  4. Read instructions (recipes, manuals, help functions, package inserts, operating instructions)
