<aside> 💡 Life can often get a bit muddled in your late teens to early 20’s. You’ve got to juggle school, maybe a job or internship, your friends, maybe a relationship; all whilst being a well rounded person with hobbies and interests….it’s a lot. In 1989, Covey published the self help title, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, in which he presents an approach to being effective through achieving goals that are personal to the individual by building healthy habits. However, 1989 was quite a while ago already, meaning that many of Covey’s advice could be in ways outdated or too abstract for young people to implement in their daily lives. Therefore, his son, Sean Covey, wrote a similar guide directed towards teenagers and those still within the education system. Adapting these habits and implementing them into your routines can help you establish an effective and positive mindset in preparation for your internships!
